Summer exam results days 2021 – A level and GCSE results will be published on: A levels – Tuesday 10 August 2021 from 8.00am GCSEs – Thursday 12 August 2021 from 8.30am
Students collecting results should report to the Wheeldon Hall from the times stated above on the morning results are published.
2021-22 academic year
The following term dates have been set for the 2021-22 academic year: Wednesday 1 September – Y7, Y9 and Y12 students in school
Thursday 2 September - all students in school
Term 1: 1 September 2021* to 22 October 2021 Term 2: 1 November 2021 to 22 December 2021*
Term 3: 10 January 2022 to 18 February 2022 Term 4: 28 February 2022 to 8 April 2022 Term 5: 25 April 2022 to 27 May 2022 (2 May 2022 is a bank holiday) Term 6: 6 June 2022 to 22 July 2022
* dates that differ from DCC’s published term dates.
We have taken the decision to return to school one day earlier for the start of the new academic year (Wednesday 1 September 2021) and finish the autumn term one day earlier (22 December 2021). This is to ensure a smooth start to the year with the staggered start on 1 September and all students back for Thursday and Friday, and as the Christmas holiday is later next year it allows school to break up one day earlier.
