HERMANN SONS LIFE RETIREMENT HOME

Located on a scenic hilltop in Comfort, our Retirement Home is an independent living community for eligible members. Residents need not give up any property or pensions to live at the Home. They are provided with a room, meals and access to a recreation room, TV room, craft room, chapel, sunroom and outdoor areas.

Admission Information:

• Members applying to live at the Home must have been a member in good standing for the past three consecutive years.

• Members applying must be age 62 or older.

• Members applying must be in good health in the opinion of the company physician upon applying and be able to care for themselves while they are living at the Home.

• Members applying must have a Hermann Sons Life insurance policy in good standing in any amount or a Hermann Sons Life annuity valued at $2,500 or more. The life insurance policy must remain in force as long as the resident lives at the Home. The value of the annuity cannot drop below $2,500 as long as the member is living at the Home.

• There is a $500 non-refundable application fee.

• Once admitted, the resident member will pay an annual fee set by the board.

• For a financial arrangement of $10,000, a member’s spouse may apply for residency after a successful medical evaluation, regardless of membership.
