Heritage Calgary is a charitable Civic Partner of The City of Calgary that identifies, preserves, and promotes Calgary’s diverse heritage for future generations. We believe that through research, education, and preservation we can be the voice of heritage for Calgarians, working together to keep the stories alive that connect and enrich this city, for today and tomorrow. Heritage Calgary maintains the Inventory of Evaluated Historic Resources and advises City Council on heritage matters. We offer a variety of programs and services, such as the Heritage Calgary Awards, the Heritage Plaque Program, Heritage Matters, and Heritage Walking Tours.
