I have been fond of drawing and sculpting since my childhood. But I was always fascinated by the three-dimensional concept of Art: what is there on the other side of the canvas. Working with an art doll gives me this sense of “space” in the visual arts. It is such fun, but at the same time, very challenging work. Indeed, to create a doll, the maker needs to be a sculptor, an artist, a hairdresser, a tailor, a shoemaker and so many other things... I prefer to work mainly with self-hardening plastics, such as La Doll or Paperclay. Sometimes I use baked resin plastics like Living Doll or Fimo. All my hand-made "girls and boys" are uniquely designed. Having one of them in your home you can be completely sure of possessing something special, that no one else in the world has!
