Hand in Paw

Hand in Paw's mission is to improve human health and well-being through Animal-Assisted Therapy. We do this by training and supporting volunteer handler-animal Therapy Teams who bring comfort, connection, and healing to people in need. Each year, our Therapy Teams make thousands of visits to medical centers, schools, and human service agencies across North Central Alabama and Tuscaloosa. At no time has Hand in Paw charged for its services.
