The Wheelers made Hampton Hall home in December of 2020. Prior to living in Hampton Hall, Mark and Donna lived in a quaint New England town known as Bedford, New Hampshire. They spent 25 fabulous years in Bedford raising their children: Oliver, Aidan, and Isabelle. They spent summers playing tennis and swimming at the “Bluffs,” and winters ski racing all over Northern New England.

Mark and his brother were co-owners of the family business, New England Duplicator. Mark spent 25 years at the “Dupe” serving the local Manchester community. When he was not working, Mark was volunteering for the Gunstock Ski Team as a course maintenance worker, board member, and #1 fan of Aidan and Isabelle while they were racing. He also spent time golfing at various courses in New Hampshire.

Donna dedicated her career to the non-profit sector. She likes to think of herself as mission driven. Over the years, she worked at the Granite YMCA, Meals on Wheels and rounded out her career at the Greater Manchester/Nashua Board of REALTORS as Association Executive. In her spare time, she volunteered at the YMCA, coached her daughter’s cheer squad, was a member of several USTA tennis teams and most importantly, spent precious time with her children and granddaughter, Everleigh.

becomes a loyal fan. His favorite artists include Jason Isbell and The Grateful Dead. Donna is an avid reader and enjoys sharing this passion with others in her book club. Donna also loves yoga. She spent 10 years as a yoga instructor and now enjoys practicing as a participant.

Hampton Hall is one of the most wellrounded and diverse communities in Bluffton with so much to offer. Donna and Mark have met many wonderful people and are grateful for such a welcoming community with the best neighbors. Come join us!

After many snowy winters, it was time for a change. They chose Hampton Hall for several reasons. The location is great and they love the proximity to Savannah and Hilton Head Island. It felt like “home” with a strong community spirit. The people are friendly, there are plenty of activities to participate in, and they can do it all without having to get in the car everyday (a big change from NH!).

Since moving to Hampton Hall, Mark and Donna have developed a love for pickleball. Mark is an avid golfer, and you will often find him in the yard maintaining their property. He’s always had a green thumb! Donna plays on several Hampton Hall tennis teams, is a member of the Ladies’ Golf Society, and volunteers on the Membership Advisory Group. One of Donna’s favorite places in Hampton Hall is her hammock in the backyard. It is so peaceful!

They love having their family and friends visit, especially their granddaughter, Everleigh, who loves coming to “Carolina” to swim in the pool and participate in the family activities. The 4th of July party and parade is her favorite, along with the Thanksgiving 5K and gelato at Splash Café.

Outside of Hampton Hall, Mark and Donna enjoy exploring Hilton Head Island and Old Town on their bikes. Mark works at the PGA Superstore where he can share his love of golf, and Donna works at South Beach Racquet Club sharing her love of tennis. Mark is a music enthusiast. He is always exploring different artists, and once hooked,
