--David W. Look, FAIA, FAPT, historical architectural engineer, retired in 2006 as Deputy Lead of Cultural Resources, Pacific West Region, National Park Service. He made substantial contributions to cultural resource management, material conservation, and preservation technology through educational outreach and publications. Look has conceived, developed, planned, and executed many conferences and training courses. He has received numerous awards including the Department of the Interior (DOI) Meritorious Award (1994), Association for Preservation Technology College (APT) of Fellows (2002), American Institute of Architects College of Fellows (2004), DOI Distinguished Service Award (2007), and APT Harley J. McKee Award (2009). He has continued working as a volunteer on the Pohnpei Park and Botanical Garden, Federated States of Micronesia, and as a contractor for Kisha National Historical Landmark, Alaska. He served on the board of directors, US/ICOMOS, French and Indian War Foundation and the Foundation for the Virginia State Arboretum and Blandy Experimental Farm.
