Non credo che sul piano professionale oggi si possano fare grosse distinzioni tra uomini e donne. Forse le donne hanno una sensibilità maggiore rispetto ai colleghi dell’altro sesso e questo può essere un aiuto quando si ha a che fare con un prodotto legato ai sensi e al bien vivre come il vino. La qualità che apprezzi di più negli altri? La passione nel fare le cose. E proprio nel mondo del vino mi sono accorta che ogni addetto impegnato in questo settore, lavora con una passione che non ho mai riscontrato altrove. Ludovica Fratini, nata a Firenze nel ‘78, vive tra Milano, dove ha incontrato l’amore, e Bolgheri, dove segue il marketing per l’Italia di una delle aziende di famiglia, la vitivinicola Tenuta Argentiera. Born in Florence in 1978, divides her time between Milan, where she fell in love, and Bolgheri, where she heads marketing for Italy in one of her family’s businesses, the Tenuta Argentiera wine company. 26

A wine that depicts Tuscany Red, full-bodied with good structure, elegant. Women in wine, that something extra that makes all the difference... I do not think that professionally speaking today there are big differences between men and women. For me there are just qualified people and the others, the capable and the incapable, not a question of gender. In general perhaps women are more sensitive than their male colleagues and this can be of help when you are dealing with a product linked to the senses and bien vivre like wine. The quality that you appreciate most in others? A passion in doing things. In the world of wine I have realised that everyone involved in this sector, from the simplest farmer to the top manager, works with a passion that I have never come across elsewhere. A meeting that changed your life. My husband, who made me a complete happy woman and the world of wine which triggered my enthusiasm.
