Greg Deshields, a proud Philadelphian, is deeply immersed in the tourism and hospitality industry, driven by an authentic passion for his work. With a diverse background spanning academia, non-profit, corporate, and government sectors, he brings a wealth of experience and insight to his profession. Specializing in Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging, he excels in conducting comprehensive organizational assessments and implementing tailored strategies for improvement. He emphasizes the importance of workforce development and cultivating strong client relationships, recognizing collaboration and excellence as essential catalysts for progress. Greg holds degrees in Hotel & Restaurant Management and Hospitality Management from Johnson & Wales University in Providence, Rhode Island. In addition to his formal education, he actively participated in leadership programs offered by esteemed institutions such as the Urban League of Philadelphia, Leadership Forum, Leadership Philadelphia, and Greater Philadelphia Leadership Exchange. He is certified as a Diversity Executive (CDE) by the Society of Diversity and a certified hospitality educator (CHE) by the American Hotel & Lodging Association Educational Institute. He is also a licensed Diamond Inclusiveness Assessment Provider by CultureBrokers® LLC.
