Collection Launch

Everyone welcome; children must be accompanied by an adult. Join us for the launch of GVPL’s StoryWalk® collection. Individual pages of a storybook, mounted on sign posts, are placed outdoors in a circuit. Children follow the narrative by visiting each sign post in sequence. After the StoryWalk®, join us at the branch for nature-inspired activities. Rain or shine; please dress appropriately. Drop-in. This program is run in collaboration with West Shore Parks and Recreation and is part of Your Literacy Connection Westshore’s Family Learning Tour. The StoryWalk® Project was created by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier, VT and developed in collaboration with the Vermont Bicycle & Pedestrian Coalition (VBPC) and the Kellogg Hubbard Library.
