Beginning with just two employees, Imperial Landscapes, Inc. has grown to a staff of 18-40 full-time and part-time employees seasonally, of which Whitmore is very appreciative of. “I am thankful for my fellow co-workers. This is my work family and I am blessed to have great, faithful people standing alongside me,” said Whitmore. Imperial Landscapes, Inc. has two field offices in North and South Whitfield County.

Whitmore is an Environmental Horticulturist, Landscape Designer, and ISA Certified Arborist. Whitmore graduated from Dalton State College in June of 1998 with an Environmental Horticulturist degree. Whitmore also possesses an International Society of Arboriculture Arborists degree and a Georgia Soil and Water Conservation Commission Certification.

Imperial Landscapes, Inc. is licensed with the Georgia Department of Agriculture and the Tennessee Department of Agriculture, including a Pesticide Contractors’ License. Imperial Landscapes, Inc. is a member of the American Society for Horticultural Science, Georgia Green Industry Association (GGIA), Georgia Arborist Association, Dalton Chamber of Commerce, and Better Business Bureau for North Georgia and Southeast Tennessee. “I have worked hard to educate myself and obtain many licenses and certifications so I can fill a void in our community here locally. We provide the experience where it is needed,” said Whitmore.

Imperial Landscapes, Inc. provides many fertilization and herbicide application services to lawn areas, trees, shrubs, and ornamental plants through non-selective total vegetation control spray outs and an herbicide trim spray program. Whitmore and his staff are educated and trained to apply fertilizers and pesticides with a conservative approach, always using the minimum rates directed by labels. These practices ensure that you and your landscape are protected and safe!
