Cardiff ’s leading salon, Guy Christian, relocating after 10 years on City Road celebrates a decade in business next month, the milestone birthday is going to be one to remember for Guy Christian with exciting developments at South Wales’ leading hair salon.

G UY CHRISTIAN PROFESSIONAL HAIR STYLING Since the first salon opened on City Road in Cardiff in November 2007, the business has grown from strength to strength expanding across South Wales with two further Guy Christian salons opening in Cardiff Bay and Cwmbran. Following 10 successful years on City Road, the inaugural salon will be relocating to Capitol Shopping Centre at the end of November 2017, bringing clients closer to the heart of the city. Located in the city centre, the Cardiff branch of the salon will be expanding both in salon size and staff members, with opportunities for stylists, colourists and assistants to join the talented team. Voted ‘Best Hair and Beauty Salon’ in the Cardiff Lifestyle Awards 2016 and receiving the accolade ‘Best of Cardiff ’ in The Welsh Hair & Beauty Awards 2017, Guy Christian is renowned for cutting-edge hairstyling and offering the latest techniques and trends in their cool, contemporary salons. Most recently, Stacie Lee, Master Stylist of the Cardiff Bay salon, won the Southern Regional Heats to get through to the UK & Ireland final of the Wella Professionals TrendVision competition in London.

Stacie has also been accepted on the Wella Professionals Generation NOW Team, a 12 month mentoring programme for rising stars in hairdressing. Only 6 spaces are available on the team and Stacie was chosen from entrants across the country to be part of the programme, giving her on-stage platform work at some of the biggest events in the industry and exclusive access to industry mentors. To mark 10 years in business, Guy Christian has been celebrating with exclusive offers and competitions for new and existing clients over the last few months. The raffle to win a free year of haircuts and colours is raising money for the Alzheimer’s Society and tickets are available to purchase from all three salons. On relocating to the city centre, Guy says: “It will be bittersweet to leave City Road having established the first Guy Christian salon there.There has been a lot of hard work involved over the last 10 years and I’m immensely proud of what the team and I have achieved. But I’m looking forward to the next chapter of the Cardiff salon, to expanding our team and continuing our success for another decade!” 19
