Alumni Membership

We awarded LIFETIME MEMBERSHIPS in appreciation of the contribution that past and present players who have represented the Northern Districts Cricket Association (and other associations) have made towards the great game of cricket.

Seddon Cricket Club have been overwhelmed by the initial response of past and present male and female players who have signed up to the club. We now have nearly 100 Alumni members officially registered.

A purpose of Seddon Cricket Club is based upon our desire to play our part towards preserving the rich Northern Districts history. We feel it’s important for us as a club to play a role in keeping past and present players connected with each other and the game. So many of the contributions of our male and female alumni (either here in New Zealand or abroad) have been instrumental both on and off the field, providing many magical moments and memories over the years. Seddon Cricket Club look forward to continuing to find ways to engage with our past and connect with our future through providing quality experiences and events.

As a token of appreciation for their efforts, membership cards, ties and scarfs were gifted to our alumni members recently. Our membership cards highlight the player’s first-class cap number and entitle our alumni to attend any domestic game free at any of the grounds within the Northern Districts region, including Cobham Oval, Bay Oval and Seddon Park. We would like to thank the Northern Districts Cricket Association for working in partnership with us to provide this opportunity for our alumni. Giving back to the game and our players and connecting to the future are part of our club’s guiding principles and is something Seddon Cricket Club endeavours to respect.
