Eve Worrall W’04 has launched a crowdfunder campaign. She writes: “Having left Sherborne 10 years ago intent on not going to university and not really sure what I wanted to do I found myself working in horticulture. I have spent the last seven years working in the south west in some beautiful and celebrated gardens as well as using my horticultural skills whilst travelling abroad.” This year Eve launched her new business, a social enterprise called The Chamomile Project which promotes well-being and recovery through gardening and nature-based activities. Initially the project will be aimed at people suffering from mental health difficulties before extending to a wider audience. They have just started work on

their new base, Milborne Wood near Dorchester, a beautiful ancient woodland. As well as eco therapy, they will also be running a number of different courses: woodland crafts, environmental art, foraging and horse logging. They also hope to be running some wild hen weekends in 2015. www.milbornewood.com. Eve goes on to say, “Although I never excelled academically at Sherborne Girls, it did give me the confidence and self-belief and for that I am very grateful. What a great thing to instil in children so that they can carry that into adulthood.” To find out more about The Chamomile Project, please visit: The Chamomile Project, an Environment project from Gunwalloe Crowdfunding on Crowdfunder.co.uk Leavers from 2004 attended a joint 10-year reunion with the Old Shirburnian Society on Saturday, 7 June at the Fentiman Arms, in London.
