Q&A
CURRENTLY WORKING ON: This summer, alongside teaching my master classes at the Silva Arte Danza e Musical academy in Siracusa, Sicily, I’m taking on two exciting new projects: co-directing and choreographing the musical Tarzan, and embarking on my maiden voyage in musical documentary filmmaking. It’s double the challenge and double the fun to stretch my creative muscles and bring these visions to life—all in Italian and all shot right in Italy. MY MOST RECENT PROJECT: Exciting news! You can catch me in two new projects: playing Hot Sauce in “Diarra from Detroit” on BET+ and in “Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F” with Eddie Murphy, on Netflix, where I portray Officer Moore, a parking enforcement officer. These roles are a perfect fit for where I am in my career right now—allowing me to showcase my acting range to the fullest. THE PERSON I AM DYING TO WORK WITH IS: I would like to collaborate with several people, but if I had to choose just one person, it would have to be Glenn Close. Her talent is out of this world—she never fails to captivate audiences with her depth and versatility. She can transform into any character, from the complex Férula in “House of Spirits” to the chilling Alex in “Fatal Attraction,” and the iconic Cruella de Vil in “101 Dalmatians.” Not to mention her memorable roles in “The Wife,” “Stepford Wives,” and “Hook”! Each one is unforgettable. I also love to

explore diverse characters. Yes, working with Glenn Close would be like getting a doctorate in acting and filmmaking. I HAD TO LIVE IN A WORLD FROM A MOVIE OR TV SHOW: Stanley Tucci’s “Searching for Italy” would be my go-to choice. Sicily holds a special spot in my heart as my favorite Italian region. Its culture resonates deeply with my African heritage, from the rich variety of regional cuisines to the warmth of its people and vibrant traditions. It’s fascinating to see how similar values like loyalty, friendship, and honor shape both Sicilian and African families. It reminds me to value beauty in all its forms and celebrate life—I couldn’t be happier. THE PERSON I’VE BEEN MOST STARSTRUCK BY IS: I’m still on the lookout for the classic Hollywood mystique. However, there’s a stellar lineup of icons with contemporary allure whom I would love to meet— Glenn Close, Denzel Washington, Donatella Versace, Quentin Tarantino, Whoopi Goldberg, Rihanna, and Janet Jackson. Each of them brings something special to the table, and I’m eager to soak up their wisdom and collaborate on something incredible. 3 THINGS OR PEOPLE I LOVE ARE: Picking only three loves from my family is a challenge! But nothing beats traveling, the freedom of horseback riding, and the confidence that comes with wearing haute couture. It’s my ultimate trio for feeling unstoppable!
