Appalachian Adventure (2 weeks) $850 Have you ever hiked through an entire state? After you finish this program, you will have those bragging rights! Spend your first few days in camp learning the skills you need for the trail, including how to fit and pack your backpack, using camp stoves, practicing leave no trace, etc. Then head out on the trail for a five-day excursion on the Appalachian Trail. You will start just inside Pennsylvania, hike completely through the state of Maryland, and end in West Virginia!

Cape Henlopen (2 weeks) JUNE 26–JULY 8 $900 Enjoy history and adventure on the beach! Learn to windsurf on the bay, stand up paddle board near the beach, and relax on a water taxi tour. You will also be able to explore a World War II fort, and enjoy playing a little disc golf, all while camping at the beach! If you are lucky, you will even see the dolphins swimming just off the coast at sunrise!

Phindin' Philly (2 weeks) JUNE 26–JULY 8 $975 Summer is poppin’ in Philly! It is time to join the fun! Check out the historical side by visiting the Constitution Center, Liberty Bell, and Independence Hall. Look deep into science at the Franklin Institute, pet the animals at the Philly Zoo, and gaze at the art of the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Round out your Philly adventure in style by rooting on the Phillies at a Phillies game! You are sure to Phind your way through Philly during this program! Spend your nights while on the road camping in a tent at one of GSEP’s day camps.

Adirondack Adventure (2 weeks) JULY 10–22 $900 You will start off in camp practicing your hiking and canoeing skills before you head to the great outdoors to demonstrate your new backpack and canoe skills as you hike and paddle your way through the wilderness of the beautiful Adirondack Mountains. While you are there you will also visit the Lake Placid Olympic Center. *Prerequisite: Campers must be in good physical condition and have broken in hiking boots, but no prior backpacking experience is needed. Bring your own or use one of camp’s Backpacks.

Assateague Adventure (2 weeks) JULY 10–22

Head to the Assateague Island National Seashore in Maryland and explore this fascinating area. You’ll camp on the beach with the Assateague ponies, tour state and national forests by bike, learn the pirate lore of the area, and explore a salt marsh by kayak.

Maine Mayhem (2 weeks) JULY 10–22

Sail Away to Lake George (2 weeks) JULY 24–AUGUST 5 $1150 Spend your first week at camp learning the ins and outs of canoeing and sailing. Then head up to beautiful Lake George in the Adirondack Mountains. You will spend six days canoeing and sailing around Lake George, taking in the exquisite beauty of the area.

$1150 Adventure to Maine and the scenic Acadia National Park. There you will tour the park by land and sea, go climbing in the park, hike around the beautiful national treasure, and even follow the Acadia Earthcache. You will be in the first Eastern National Park and travel to the highest point on the North Atlantic seaboard. Spend one night on the way there and one night on the way back in a different New England state.

Wild Waterpark Tour (2 weeks)

The Ultimate Y (2 weeks) JULY 24–AUGUST 5 $1000 Raft the Youghiogheny River, and then try it again traveling on duckies. Then, bike and hike to the trails in Ohiopyle State Park. You’ll even travel down a natural water slide!

Adventure in the Gap (2 weeks) JULY 31–AUGUST 12

$975 Go on a tour of water parks to see which you think is the best! Travel to H2Ohhh!, Kalahari, Aquatopia, and Wild Water Kingdom to find your best splash! There will of course be plenty of time for traditional camp activities back at camp as well!

On the border of New Jersey and Pennsylvania, where the river cuts through a large ridge of the Appalachian Mountains is a beautiful region known as the Delaware Water Gap. Come spend five days tubing, canoeing, zip lining, and hiking in this beautiful area!

Animal Adventure

Spend your week visiting animals! Enjoy a day at the Lehigh Valley Zoo, another at the Adventure Aquarium, and yet a third at the Philadelphia Zoo. You will get to see all your favorite animals!

Spend a week of adventure at Mosey Wood and beyond! You will float down the Delaware River on a tube, climb rock faces at Ralph Stover State Park, and fly down the zip line at camp. The adventure is endless this week!

Canoe It (2 weeks) JULY 31–AUGUST 12 $825 Spend your first week at camp sharpening your canoeing skills, learning tripping skills, and packing for your adventure. Then spend five days paddling on the beautiful Delaware River taking in the scenic water ways and the wildlife along the way. *See swimming prerequisites.

Spend a week on the water. Raft and kayak down the Lehigh River and then tube down the Delaware River. Back at camp you will get to explore Mosey Wood Pond on the stand-uppaddleboards. It will be one wet week for sure!
