Pastor Hakim Semakula

akim Semakula is a son to the first supreme Mu�i of uganda.

And suprisingly even though he was an ardent muslim faithful devoted to the core.

Hakim Semakula was called by Jesus Christ in the early 1980s in the cool of the day while res�ng in his room in a manner that was both vivid and real- undeniable and undisreputatable.

According to his narra�ve, Jesus called unto Hakim Semakula in a sound voice as though some one in the same room was calling out to him.

The voice of the Lord said to Hakim Semakula, ”Abdulhakim semakula, what danger is in salva�on？”

In that very moment Hakim semakula woke up and looked for the voice of the one who was calling him out.

However to his dismay he would not find nobody having looked in every room of the house.

This is so because the voice that was calling him out was not from a natural man but from the Lord Jesus himself.

In returning to the room where he first had the voice of Jesus , the voice spoke to Hakim Semakula once again with the same words of inquiry, ” Hakim Semakula what danger is in salva�on？ “ while in the taxi park ,Hakim Semakula with no clear sense of direc�on from a human perspec�ve ,walked past all the taxis heading in different dis�na�on and entered a taxi heading past mengo. while there ,Hakim semakula officially gave his life to Jesus christ as his lord and personal saviour.

From that moment on Hakim Semakula got out of his house, and headed to the taxi park.

And once the taxi reached mengo , Hakim Semakula disembarked fron the taxi and instantly heard drumbeats in the direc�on of mengo secondary school.

There he went and ended up in a youthful fellowship that was led by pastor Kibuuka of the Phildelphia church.

News about Hakim semakula and his switch from Islam to salva�on in Jesus Christ spread directly to his prominent muslim family and as expected to was received with contempt.

Family members including elder brothers plus Hakim semakula’s mother accosted Hakim Semakula to explain his decision to covert from Islam.

Having none much to say Hakim Semakula’s response to all his angry rela�ves was scriptural based saying, ”Jesus is the way the truth and the life”.

They unapologe�cally denounced him and cut him off with his elder brother categorically sta�ng and issuing a curse of suffering on him.

Ofcourse Hakim semakula suffered many hardships in his new walk with Jesus christ.

However he remained steadfast in his newfound faith in Jesus Christ.

He transi�oned from living a middle class lifestyle to a poverty stricken lifestyle.

From dwelling in an upscale suburb to a ghe�o that was literally submerged in kisenyi.

Armed with Bible in hand Hakim Semakula started preaching the gospel of the streets of kampala.

Around strategic places such as Kiyemba, Old Taxi Park, and in Kikuubo.

Many were saved and accepted Jesus christ as their Lord and personal savior upon the hearing of the tes�mony of Hakimu Semakula in regarda to how Jesus christ converted him from Islam to Chris�anity.

A�er years of preaching and serving God, in 1990 Hakim semakula relocated to the united kingdom where he s�ll resides a�er 32yrs.
