How did you fall into the world of hair?
"What I LOVE is that I get to make women feel good about themselves. NOT by trying to make them look like what's trending but just ENHANCING what they already have." Michelle
What is one of your favorite hair products and where can one get it? "Oh it's so hard to pick one!!!! A product I can't function with out is a good hairspray. My go to is Chi's Magnified Volume finishing hair spray. It's crucial in making sure the style lasts. It doesn't leave the client feeling like they have helmet hair. It has a firm hold but is workable so it doesn't leave the hair stiff."
"When I was 20, I dropped out of Suffolk University after my freshmen year. I moved to San Diego with a friend to find myself. Along the way, I met an amazing woman, Tomar Ramirez. Tomar became a close friend and at the time she had just finished hair school. She was so passionate about what she was doing. I was inspired and all I knew was I wanted to go to hair school after hearing her experiences. One day, I decided I was going to trade in my $800 a month paycheck. I was done working dead end jobs and going on pointless casting calls. Eventually, I found myself back home in Boston. I enrolled in Blaine in downtown Boston AND ironically it was right back on Suffolk's campus. I always knew I wanted to be in the Beauty industry I was just on the wrong end of it." If I wanted to do a consult with you how does that work?
"If you are coming to me for any service, I carry the products I use on my clients."
"I usually include a brief consultation before I start any service on new client and/or returning client. If a client wants a more in depth consultation I recommend emailing or calling to request a consultation before booking an appointment for your desired service."
