After attending Penn State, Gary's career took him to Europe, where he worked for a global glass manufacturing company in Luxembourg. During his time there, he developed and executed successful market penetration strategies that led to the complete sellout of the factory’s production. He founded Power Solutions International (PSI), where he served as CEO for over 30 years. Under his leadership, PSI became a major alternative fuel engine technology player.
