Theater Appreciation

Prerequisite: English 9 Theater Appreciation increases student understanding, critical analysis, and appreciation of stage productions. Students gain knowledge of the history of theater, learn about the technical components of a production, and study major modern and classic playwrights and composers. Students are required to attend three productions during each semester of this course and participate in thoughtful discussions about the production.
