A new year brings exciting new products offered by Harley-Davidson. Whether you’re looking for a boost in performance or a change in style you’ll be excited about the products that Harley-Davidson is offering. As always, we are ready to get all these new offerings on your bike in no time!
The Brand New Screamin’ Eagle Heavy Breather Extreme Air Cleaner is a redesigned version of the Screamin’ Eagle Heavy Breather. With the new and improved design, you can look forward to 42% more air than a traditional Heavy Breather filter. Air is able to move smoothly through the filter due to an interior bell-shape feature and then travels through a unique round to oval transitioned tube to improve leg clearance while providing unobstructed air to the throttle body. At speeds over 60 miles per hour, the filter captures air form the front, forcing the air through a smaller area to create a RAM air effect, while the long intake tube enhances torque beyond the other ventilator and Round High-flow Filters for enhanced acceleration. This filter is meant for bikes with large displacements and can support output over 150 horsepower! There is also an Extreme Air Cleaner variant of the Screamin’ Eagle Ventilator; offering 39% more air flow than a traditional perimeter high-flow filter. The Screamin’ Eagle Ventilator Extreme Air Cleaner can also support output of over 150 horsepower. Harley-Davidson’s standard AGM battery is a great battery, but now we offer an even better option for you, the Lithium LiFe Battery. This new battery offers huge reductions in weight, more cold cranking amps and double the life of an AGM battery. The Lithium LiFe battery for Touring models is 17.6lbs lighter than the AGM, the Softail, Dyna and V-Rod battery is 12.2lbs lighter and the Sportster and Street models’ battery is 8.8lbs lighter. The all new Bevel seats are here. Offered in both two-up and solo for 18 and later Softails. The Bevel seats were created with style in mind, so you won’t have to worrying about sacrificing to get the comfort you deserve. The low, slim profile of the Bevel Seats complement the lines of your bike while the carbon fiber-like inserts, chevron-shaped pleating, HDMC embroidered script and edgy aluminum no-feel buttons add a custom look. Here we are, just a little over a month away from many of the events and Bike Nights starting to fire up and we still have snow on the ground with cold ass temperatures. I’m sure, just like me, you all are sick of this winter, which I’m not a fan anyway, and seems to keep dragging on and on and on. I don’t know about you, but I’m ready to get to some riding weather. Hopefully as we start to get into March our weather will improve and we will sneak some riding day in and April will come in strong with warmer, dryer weather. The Bike Night season will kick off on Weds, April 3rd with Full Throttle Magazine’s and Bobby’s Place Valley Park’s Historic Route 66 Bike Night. As you know this Bike Night is every Weds night throughout the entire 2019 season. We are working on new things to keep our weekly Bike Night fun and more entertaining for all of you who come out every week and help make this the Biggest and Best weekly Bike Night in the St Louis area.
Big St Charles Motorsports and St Charles Harley will start their 2019 season Bike Night and Calendar Girl Search on Thursday April 4th and as always, promised to be a monthly event you do not want to miss. “Tucker Dealer Show” How’s it going Full Throttle readers, Zach White here to give you the latest and
greatest info from St. Charles Harley-Davidson. Can’t wait for the warmer weather to be here and some nice rain showers to rinse off all the salt that has been building up all winter long. Hope you all have your bike plugged into a battery tender and some sort of fuel additive in the tank so when we do get those nice days later this month you are ready. Thank you all for a great seminar season and to all the ladies that made it to our “Lady’s intro to Riding” night. This month I want to focus on what’s new in the Aftermarket world. We are always trying to educate our-self to help you all with what’s new. I went down to Texas to the 2019 Annual Tucker Show to see what the season will be bringing us. Lets get started on what I got my hands on and available for purchase at St. Charles Harley-Davidson from some of the top Aftermarket Manufactures. The Newest in the Tucker V-Twin book that really gave we a “WOW” moment was, Epic Moto Co.! As the “Big Wheel Baggers” are going down from its Peak and the “Steam Roller” fat front ends are now the new big wheel bagger. Coming slowly to the Midwest from the west coast is the “Performance Baggers”! Stripping your motorcycle down to make it as light as possible and building your motor up is what any performance junkie is after. Well Epic Moto Co. has made the Stripping down your motorcycle a lot easier and have done all the guessing work for you. Whichever direction you are going they will have the nacelle for you with the Duro Tracker or Cafe Racer style. The XXX Chin Spoiler gives you that moto look and protection to hide the open front frame and start the lines going back. Also going to the Mid of the bike and shaving the sides down are the XXX Naked Series side covers. Moving towards the rear of the bike they have a Sub frame you can purchase with a tail cowling that removes your saddlebags and bulky rear fender. This will be available for 09-present touring bikes. Come in and check out the complete line up they have to offer. Another New product that is out that really got my attention was from Vance & Hines. The all new FuelPak Pro. A lot of you already have the FP3 which is an easy fix to help your starving lean running bike. Well before we only sold them if the Client was NEVER going to do any engine work other then your basic air cleaner and exhaust system. That is all going to change now that the Fuel Pak Pro has come available for the dealers. The Pro now allows us to go into your FuelPak FP3 and put it on our Dyno and tune your bike with any engine modifications from Stage 2 to a complete engine overhaul. I asked “well we have some customers that want to go even faster and put a Turbo on the bike will it work?” and guess what it will tune that as well. It is truly the one and only fuel management system needed for any performance upgrade you are dreaming of. Come in and check it out and I can run over some more awesome features available. Now lets move on to some comfort for the long haul. One of our biggest sellers in aftermarket seats is Mustang. Not only are they one of the most comfortable seats I have rode on they also look great. From different stitching, to inlays and styles to fit any rider you can’t go wrong. That being said its hard to just look at a picture of a seat and think hmmmm.... I think this is the seat for me. So we have been building our seat display for you

and will have 5 different 09-later touring seats available for DEMO from mustang when the riding season decides to return. Here are a few features that really set a Mustang Seat apart from the others. The Base plates are a solid one piece steel that is epoxy powder coated on both sides then carpet is added on the bottom. To keep the base plate from hitting the Frame and Rear fender it has rubber grommets riveted to the bottom that also help with the vibration and numbness you get on a long days ride. We all know what really makes a seat is what’s on the inside and Mustang has the best controlled density polyurethane foam so it will feel amazing on your first ride and also thousands of rides later. To cover the seats Mustang uses high quality expandable vinyl that is hand stitched and looks just like leather but gives you the weather resistance and long life that we want out of a seat. Come in a check out our Big selection of Mustang seats available and on display for you. When it comes to dressing up your bike with a set of wheels Performance Machine is one of the first ones we go to. They have some great looking designs that aren’t to much but just enough. Well I always look forward to what is the next wheel available and they did it again with the all New Royce. I Can’t wait to get this wheel on a bike to show it off. Another new product coming soon from Performance Machine is sliders and slider covers for your steam roller fat front end builds. The last big eye catcher from PM was the Milwaukee 8 engine covers. These will give you that custom finish and the best part is they won’t cost anything to install when you do your next motor build. Come in and check out all the New product available and in stock at the Store from Performance Machine. Last but definitely not least is Arai Helmets. I never thought a full face helmet could function so well but also feel so natural until I witnessed it myself. The first time I put one over my head I was like “I can’t get this on” then I pulled it down just a little harder and it fit just like that perfect glove and you wouldn’t think you had a full face on. With the Multi Density Styrofoam liner, to the composite shell and three head shapes for a true custom fit. It’s no wonder why Harley-Davidson now offers this helmet in the top of the line FXRG family of riding gear. One awesome thing is if the Harley one doesn’t fit your head we can get one that will with two other head shapes and different graphics available to order. Come in a get measured for your Arai helmet, once you ride with one you won’t go with anything else. We are gearing up for another great riding season and bike nights are just around the corner. Can’t wait to see a parking lot full of bikes and smiles with like minded motorcycle enthusiast. Stop the bleed classes will again be held this month. CRACK UP’S A family brings their elderly mother to a nursing home. While sitting in her new room, she slowly starts to lean over sideways in her chair. We have a strange custom in our office. The food has names there. Yesterday for example I got me a sandwich out of the fridge and its name was “Michael” _____________________ Today I went to a barber’s shop for a shave. The barber asked me to put a small wooden ball in my mouth so he could get a closer shave around my cheeks. I asked: “But what if I swallow the ball?” He replied: “No problem sir, you just bring it back tomorrow like everybody else.”

Captain’s ‘57
o here you are, looking at possibly the nicest ’57 Chevy Bel Air that you have ever seen, but I guess the hole in the hood with the HUGE scoop pointed at you makes you wonder is this really that nice of a survivor or is it all just fiberglass pieces painted shiny red to hide all of the flaws? Well, look again. It is that nice and it is all STEEL. From any angle this ’57, owned by Denny Terzich Sr. and his wife Barbara along with their son, Denny Jr., is nothing short of fantastic in my eyes and when they fire up this Dragon, the 1,500 horse power makes your ears beg for more. This is one of those stories about the “families who play together”. I have not yet had the pleasure of meeting Senior but his taste tells me we will get along just fine. You may have heard about some of their toys over the years, like the “Street Machine Of The Year-’56 Chevy”, the “X-Box-’55 Chevy” (which happened to sell at the Barrett-Jackson Auctions for over $200K and was featured in our very own Full Throttle Magazine/ Gaslight Garage January 2018) or maybe even “The Mutt, a 1930 Ford Tudor” which had a Rat Rod stance but was no Rat Rod. We can’t forget the Nasty Camaro nick named “Sick Seconds” that was so fast, when the new owner took it to Drag week, it BLEW OFF IT’S OWN DOORS. And when I mentioned, Families who play together; true to form, Denny Jr’s cousins Mike and Nick Terzich owns a “1937 Ford Woodie wagon, once owned by Chad Noel which happen to have Won “The Riddler Award GREAT 8 Contender” To say I loved all of these cars and others of theirs, is truly an understatement, BUT this ’57 Chevy is still my personal favorite. This is a modern version of a Pro-Street car. So many said years ago

that Pro-Street was dead and those same people have been wrong ever since. Sure, there have been other strong type of cars that have come out since that day, but like everything else with Evolution, change some of your ideas by making them bigger, better, faster, safer and more desirable again. For Denny Sr. this ’57 Chevy has always been the Ultimate ProStreet car with the look that everyone young and old loves. When Team Terzich or their real name ProRides first spotted this ’57 in Bowling Green, Kentucky at the Tri-5 Nationals, it was owned by Tommy O’Donnell. Soon after, a deal was made and a new or a rebirth was given to another ProRides car. For a company to have “PRO” in their name, it better be Bad Ass. And when you see the Hood Rockets shooting for the stars and the rear is almost on the bumper you know you have accomplished your goal. To get this kind of horsepower you have to start low, not just a scoop and call it a day. Denny had the team at P&R Engine Rebuilders start with an ALL Aluminum Brodix block with all of the best combinations to make it work like the Diamond pistons, Callies connecting rods, and a stroker crankshaft that spins all of the rotating parts to get 540 Cubic Inches. The upper rotating assembly is made up of a custom Bullet solid roller cam, Jesel lifters and rockers and a Jesel belt drive keeping everything timed just right. When you add to the already wicked motor, a Weiand 8-71 Blower with 10 psi boost, a Hilborn fuel injection with 16 injectors with fuel being pushed by 2 Holley fuel pumps controlled by a Holley Dominator ECU with 11:1 compression, it’s not like the typical Blower Motor with only about 8:1; you are talking about 1,500 lbs. of earth pounding, heart beat changing horse power. You better be sure to have a strong Resler Performance PRO-MOD transmission with a 3500 stall convertor to get the power to the tires. To make this even a better car it has a tube frame and a new leather & suede interior from Trick Labs with RJS seats and a JL Audi sound system, Dakota Digital VHD gauges, Hurst Quick Silver shifter and a full cage. For the exterior it has BASF Glasurit paint, chrome by M&P Chrome & Polishing, powder coating by Dylan’s Coatings and the body and paint was done by Justin at Sinister Muscle Cars. If you don’t see a name stating who had their hands on this car that means Denny Sr. and Denny Jr. of ProRides handled it and did one hell of a job.
