PREZ SAYS

The Season is Here As I write this, we are looking forward to the first Enduro of the season with the Little Brown Jug Enduro over the Labor Day weekend. While this event is one of the more popular, it also starts our 2020-2021 season. Following LBJ, three weeks later, is our first Hare Scramble. As my previous article mentioned, we now have a Safe to Race document designed to allow us to race safely by being responsible motorcyclists. All we ask is that everyone does their part as we all get through this together. There is a light at the end of the tunnel so let’s all be patient and work through this. Also, everyone needs to have all their memberships

secured, minor release cards in hand and get pre entered; this will save a huge amount of time and cut down on standing in line six feet apart. CFTR has been working overtime to lead off the Hare Scramble series and the participation will be huge, so if you don’t pre enter it’s on you. There has been an unreal amount of coordination going on behind the scenes to recover from all the things we lost from the last event in March. Our main focus is to start safely without incident, our other main priority is to give our youth a memory of their accomplishment of the previous race season. This being said, FTR will have a presentation for all our youth classes Saturday evening at the first Hare Scramble. Details are coming and will be announced on our website and the FTR Facebook page.

ber 1 Plate for each class champion, FTR is a highly recognized series that has the other series looking our way on how it’s done. I have said this before but needs to be repeated, so many of you have told me that when you have visited other series races out of state, they don’t hold a candle to us. Organized, on time, classes for everyone and having our own safety team are just a few things that are constantly mentioned. So, with all this being said, we have something to be proud of, brag about and a series to raise our family in. Many thanks to all the generous friends I have that give so much of their time to ensure that FTR stays solid and will be here for our children and grandchildren. To all the volunteers that make this happen, Thank You! Thanks for listening,

Moving forward with our season also brings support Randy Faul from our series sponsors Moose Racing/Parts UnFTR President limited, Engine Ice, Rocky Mountain ATV/MC Race Gas and our new sponsor FMF. Along with being AMA chartered, which recognizes and awards the AMA NumSEPTEMBER 2020
