HEAD OF SCHOOL LETTER
Greetings to the Fryeburg Academy Community
This issue of Scenes Magazine comes to you amidst the rush and vigor of holiday preparations, and we hope you’ll find it to be one of the joys of the season! Student commitment, achievement, and performances… alumni recognitions, reconnections, and news... community traditions and support: all are in evidence here, suffusing the stories and photographs on these pages.
Campus milestones, too, characterize 2019-20 at Fryeburg Academy. As we celebrate a decade transformed by the Leura Hill Eastman Performing Arts Center, the first of many to come, we also prepare for next month’s opening of Thomas D. Shaffner Hall and the new LaCasce Dining Room within. Gamechanging strides at FA like these have happened and can only happen through the generous and ongoing support of our school community. This issue of Scenes includes our annual recognition of individuals who made monetary gifts to the Academy last year. In this exciting moment, I add my own emphatic thanks to each one of you.
May your days be merry and bright—
