Frankston’s Monopoly board in the works A FRANKSTON-themed edition of Monopoly is in the works. The Frankston edition of the iconic board game will hit the shelves in May next year. Manufacturer Winning Moves says that community suggestions for locally themed squares are welcomed. Winning Moves’ Daniel Fuentes said “we are beyond thrilled to be celebrating Frankston with its own custom board. With a history dating back to the mid-19th century, we’re excited to incorporate the area’s unique heritage into the game’s design, offering players a taste of its past, while also honouring all of the modern elements of the town. We’re excited to hear from you on what you think should be on the board.” Customised community chest and chance cards will also feature in the board game. Monopoly: Frankston Edition is manufactured by Winning Moves under license from Hasbro. It has also produced Bendigo, Geelong, and Melbourne editions of the game.
