Winter, summer, spring, or fall, you can sit on the patio at Pop’s Place during ALL of the seasons. The patio at Pop’s is spread out, so nobody feels like they are dining on top of another table. There’s sometimes trivia on the patio, or music entertaining the people who love to see the trees and enjoy the fans, while being served one of the most divine meals to be found in Texarkana. Pop’s Place is not “on the beaten path,” but it is definitely worth finding, a couple of miles out of town. You will love their frozen drinks, cold beer, and specialty menu that is like nothing else in Texarkana. Again, worth the drive, and you might see a little wildlife around the patio if you are paying attention.

Made from scratch every day, Julie’s has cookies, cupcakes, seasonal pies, and the most divine cakes, ready to go home with the person needing a cake. Julie’s bakery staff are also well-known for their wedding and party making skills, so check them out before you trust a special cake to a grocery store.
