The changing face of dating

The latest in luxury fashion, beauty and healthy living

An innovative model helps to monetise your coveted items

“One of the greatest complaints about dating, whether online or through introduction agencies, is that members are just not on the same ‘page’,” says Martine Davis, founder of Page Introductions. The St. John’s Wood-based exjournalist recently set up the high-end introduction agency to offer clients bespoke introductions with like-minded individuals. Page uses a proven, analytical approach to match clients; after completing a thorough application process, new members are invited to talk to a psychologist within the Page team, who detects what would best suit them for a more meaningful match. A range of additional services are also available, such as counselling, and because first impressions count, advice on styling, talking points and date locations. With a little help, you can make this the year you find somebody on the same page as you. pageintroductions.com

ACCESSORIES

CIRCULAR LUXURY

They say you can never have too many handbags, but we’d beg to differ. If you have a closet that’s bursting at the seams with designer accessories that only see the light of day once or twice a year, the new Circular Luxury Club from shared ownership jewellery community Covett and on-demand fashion rental service Front Row is probably for you. The innovative new model allows members to monetise their wardrobe and earn money on their investment pieces by selling shares in them or loaning them out to like-minded luxury lovers. All members have been through a thorough vetting process and the club acts as a full concierge service, providing logistics, cleaning, maintenance, repairs and insurance, to ensure that all items remain in pristine condition. Of course, if you do subscribe to the adage that there are never enough bags, you might want to explore how the sharedownership model could help you to increase your own collection. Co-owners can use their luxury item for 10 weeks throughout the year, for periods of up to four weeks at a time. cove.tt/collections/handbags LoveRose Lingerie is the first luxury lingerie brand designed to be worn postmastectomy

LINGERIE

Secret support

Caroline Kennedy Alexander lost her sister Rose to breast cancer, watched her sister Mary go through it and then went through it herself, twice. After undergoing a double mastectomy and reconstruction, she was shocked at the lack of choice in the post-surgery lingerie market. She says: “Recovering from surgery was not just about the physical scars, it was the emotional and psychological scars, too. Lingerie always had the power to help me feel good about myself, it gave me a secret confidence…” She realised she could use her experience as a designer to create something special for women in the same position. And so LoveRose was born – the gorgeous collection consists of investment pieces made from recycled lace and luxurious silk fabrics. All bras are engineered with technical hidden support to negate the need for damaging underwires, and the collection includes pocketed bras for prosthesis wearers. Bras from £85, pants from £45 (loveroselingerie.com)
