Hailing from Fort Myers FL, artist T-Mike, born Tymichael, started making music professionally in 2017, when he felt the only way for him to reach his goals and get his voice heard was to put my all into my music and not hold anything back, and he’s done so ever since. Growing up in the church choir and remembering writing songs as early as middle school, the artist is no stranger to music. Growing up in the south, in a very religious family. T-Mike uses his surroundings and the things he’s experienced as an edge that allows him to tap into different sounds and tones on different beats. Thus creating a sound of his own, “not quite soul or gospel, or hard core rap, it’s a blend of them all,” describes the rapper who also uses his travel experiences in his music, “I’d describe my music as an experience. Not too many of my songs sound the same and they all come from different experiences. Some songs are meant for turning up and enjoying yourself but then I have songs that make you reminisce about love ones that’s no longer here. And when you hear these songs you experience it through my lyrics and the instrumentals.”

Influenced by various artists, TMike feels as though the game is in a great position right now where anyone has a chance to do great things, as he keeps some of his top artists such as Drake, Lil Baby, Rick Ross, Rod Wave and EST G, in his current playlist rotation. His biggest accomplishment to date by the artist’s recollection, is when he’s approached by random people telling him how much they enjoy his music. It encourages him to keep going until he reaches his goal of becoming a household name in the music industry.
