The Dartmoor Ice Cream Company: Artisan Ice Cream beautifully made in Devon
The Dartmoor Ice Cream Company makes artisan ice creams and sorbets. Started by two lasses from Devon, who care a lot about ice cream, the company has grown steadily over 5 years and is about to expand their operations once again.
Using authentic ingredients, they constantly strive for the highest quality in both taste and texture; their aim is to create ice creams as rich and luscious as those they were making at home. With that in mind, they make many of the chunks and sauces themselves. Their ice creams have consistently won awards at Taste of the West and Food Drink Devon. They are particularly proud of their sorbets which are packed with fruit. Their Raspberry Sorbet winning a coveted platinum award with Food Drink Devon.
They are always looking for new ideas to improve their range and can now offer two delicious vegan options: Vegan Vanilla and Vegan Chocolate, both of which have been very well received.
