Installation Guide
1. Adjusting Power Outlets
Ensure that your power outlets protrude from the wall by the same thickness as the felt. This can be achieved by using an outlet extender or adjusting the mounting of the outlets to match the panel thickness.
2. Marking the Cutout
Use a pencil to mark where the cutout for the Frames should be. Also, measure and mark the position of the power outlets on your Frame. This will make it easier to cut accurately later.
3. Cutting the Panel
Use a fine cutter or another suitable tool to carefully cut the slats according to your markings. Ensure sharp and precise edges for a neat finish.
4. Mounting the Frame
Attach your Frame to the acoustic panel using mounting adhesive. Press it firmly into place, ensuring it sits evenly and securely. Let the adhesive dry for approximately 30 minutes.
5. Drilling Holes for Power Outlets
Use a hole saw of the appropriate size to drill holes that fit the power outlets precisely. Check that the power outlet fits into the cutout.
6. Installing the Panel
Mount the finished panel onto the wall. Follow the general installation guide for acoustic panels to ensure a correct and stable installation.
Materials and Tools Needed:
• Outlet spacer (or an equivalent adjustment to ensure the correct distance)
• Pencil
• Fine cutter or other cutting tool
• Hole saw of appropriate size
• Measuring tape
• Mounting adhesive
Fog & Venø is a leading Danish manufacturer of acoustic and decorative panels with and without acoustic properties. These products are designed and manufactured with a focus on Danish craftsmanship and a constant pursuit of high quality. The panels are suitable for installation on both walls and ceilings.
Fog & Venø has a strategic partnership with world-leading suppliers of materials such as wood veneer, linoleum, foil, and laminate, ensuring that all Fog & Venø products maintain a high standard and a wide range of options. This means that there is constantly reverberation in the room, and this is where our acoustic panels make a big difference.
Our Danish-produced acoustic panels break the sound and absorb the sound wave, so it dies out when it hits the panels. This means that the sound wave is eliminated and the reverberation time is shortened, which will improve the indoor climate and the feeling of well-being in the room, whether it is private, commercial, or public buildings we are talking about.
