ll us a out our rol an how ou start th itch Nook? I'm the owner and founder of The Witchy Nook, which started from my love of crystals and herbs and my desire to create a space where people could explore these interests without feeling intimidated or like they needed to know what they were doing. What started small has grown into a retail store, workshops, services, our own handmade product ranges and now wholesale. It's been a lot of learning as I go, trusting my gut and figuring things out along the way. What is the single best piece of rof ssional a ic ou ha ever received? You don't have to know everything before you start! I think so many of us wait until we feel completely ready, but most of my biggest growth has come from saying yes, giving it a go and working out the details along the way. Sometimes the best thing you can do is back yourself and just start! hat accom lishm nt ar ou most proud of so far? Honestly, building The Witchy Nook into what it is today. and a space where people feel comfortable walking through the door exactly as they are. Seeing something that started as an idea in my head become a real place, with a team behind me is pretty special. Tell us about the one thing that s ou h a in into wor ach a The people! I love that no two days are the same, and you never quite know who is going to walk through the door or what conversation you are going to have. Knowing we have created a space people genuinely enjoy being keeps me coming back. What does being recognised as a isin tar m an to ou It means a lot because I often forget to stop and look back at how far I have actually come. When running a business, you usually focus on the next problem, idea or slightly chaotic to-do list. Being recognised as a Rising Star feels like a little reminder that all of those small steps, risks and long days have built something worth being proud of. ell us about The Crescent. What makes it different? The Crescent is the last major residential land release in Crescent Head. Once these lots are gone, there’s no further subdivision planned in the village. So buyers are securing one of the last entry points into a supply-capped coastal market. The Crescent has large lots with beautiful views; landscaped with walking paths, park, playground and BBQ area, and it’s just 900m to the beach. How does the value proposition compare to other NSW beach towns? Crescent’s median house price sits around $1.25 million, less than half Byron Bay’s at about $2.6 million, and well below Lennox Head and Brunswick Heads. Buyers get the same lifestyle fundamentals beach, village, national park and large centres nearby, without the price premium. Given that supply here is effectively capped, longterm growth potential is strong. What’s happening on site now? It’s alive! It’s a growing neighbourhood. Land is registered, roads and landscaping are complete, and builders are actively constructing homes,

which only adds to buyer confidence. What opportunities exist for in stors s cificall Several land lots support dual occupancy for high short-term rental income or multigenerational fle ibility. House and land packages are being developed with builders to give investors a straightforward entry point. ho s u in an wh o s that matter for investors? A genuine mix of downsizers, young families, Sydney and south-east QLD relocators, plus investors. Owner-occupiers are great for community and long-term property values, and investors are creating more holiday rental choices which Crescent is crying out for. hat s our l ator itch to an on loo in to in st Large lots, a walk to the beach, limited supply, great value compared to other hotspots, and a neighbourhood already coming to life.
