SET A BUDGET. Your perfect day will not necessarily be dictated by your spending parameters. However, as you start planning your wedding, you may discover expenses that you had not considered such as bridal underwear, wedding insurance (always advisable) or a catering service levy. Create a spreadsheet of your wedding ‘items’ and their estimated costs and this will help you create a realistic budget.
