f home is where all our heart is, the golf course is definitely the home to golfers! After months of waiting and countless hours at the dome driving range to get those golfing skills primed, summer is finally here and so is the golf season! The golfers were on their toes as they couldn’t wait to get on those pristine greens and swing those clubs. To mark its 10th year, The Batangas Amateur Golf Association (BAGA) headed by their newly elected President, Romy Alcantara officially opened their tournament last May 22nd, 2010 at the Kildonan Golf Club. The president together with his set of officers composed of
Ted Ebora (Vice Pres.), Philip Intac (Secretary), Willie Tipan (Treasurer), Joel Sangalang (Auditor), Noel Silva & Ramil Ramilo (P.R.O’s) introduced the new members of the association so as the presentation of guest players from Philippine Amateur Golf Association of Manitoba (PAGAM). Mr. Kevin Chief (Coordinator, U of W) also attended the said event. “Our annual golf tournament promotes not only good camaraderie but also a sense of community through our common sport. It’s always been great to play with our fellow kababayans, that makes every game a good and fun game!” said Romy Alcantara, President BAGA. The BAGA would like to
