The Art of the Story at Schoolhouse Children's Museum

and Learning Center - Tuesday at 3 PM for Kids 3-7 Years old . FREE with Paid Admission. After reading the slection of the week we will review the book-focusing on the illustrations and discuss what we see as well as the art process to create the illustrations. Children will then have a change to create their own art in that illustrator's style! Masks are required for adults and children 5 yrars and up. Engineer It! Competition

presented by Pratt & Whitney will be held in person at the Cox Science Center and Aquarium. Engineer It! is an annual engineering design competition jointly presented to students in grades 1st - 12th by the Florida Engineering Society (FES) & the Cox Science Center and Aquarium. $5,000 in cash and prizes awarded to winners in elementary, middle, and high school categories! 2022 Competition Categories: - The perfect egg container to protect it from a 3-story drop (Drop It) - A thrilling roller coaster (Thrill It) - The ultimate water bottle rocket (Launch It) - A perfectly buoyant boat (Float It) Click here for the 2022 rules and registration: https://www.coxsciencecenter.org/engineer-it Pre-registration is $5 per participant and will automatically shut down when we hit 200 students, or on April 7th, whichever comes first. Sunday, April 14-16, 2022, in the Rinker Playhouse at The Kravis Center. This original work created by Executive and Artistic Director, Colleen Smith is a spectacle of pirates, fairies, mermaids, and lost boys for the entire family. Peter Pan & Tinker Bell tells the story of

Peter Pan, “the boy who never grew up,” and his feisty fairy friend, Tinker Bell, before Wendy Darling’s appearance in Peter’s life. Peter & Tink’s fantastical adventures take them through Neverland, where they encounter the often ill-behaved Lost Boys, mischievous Mermaids, Princess Tiger Lily, a crocodile of monstrous proportions, and of course, the fearsome Captain Hook and his pirates!. The Sea 2022 11th Annual - Saturday, June 18, 2022 The 2022 Run 4 The Sea is a 4-mile timed race and a kids’ 1-miler in Juno Beach, Florida, or at a location of your choosing with proceeds to benefit Loggerhead Marinelife Center. The 11th Annual Run 4 The Sea is open to runners, walkers and hikers of all ages. Cost - $40 adults early-bird (by April 15th) & $20 kids; (Includes a sport style participant t-shirt, custom finisher medal and race bib). Race proceeds benefit Loggerhead Marinelife Center's mission to promote conservation of ocean ecosystems with a special focus on threatened and endangered sea turtles.
