The New Buzz Around Town is that The TBL has finally landed in FAYNC!! We have been waiting for this day! The day that Professional Basketball would be in our great city of Fayetteville!

The Stingers definitely set the tone for the season for their Home opener game! The energy was up and the vibes were right.

Prior to the game The Stingers made a brief cameo on the court to do some warm up drills and immediately they were on point and the crowd was loving it! After they went through their drills they ran back to the locker room to get ready for the home opener game. As time decreased the stands filled up more and more and MORE! Then all of a sudden the lights went out and a bright spotlight appeared and shined towards a corner. All eyes and heads turned and looked to see what was going on. Then the announcer started to announce The Stingers before they stepped on the court. Everyone in the Crown Arena was waiting for the highly anticipated game and for the Stingers Players to hit the court. During this time there was another spotlight directly on the person performing the National Anthem which was definitely on point!

As soon as the National Anthem was over the DJ turned up the music and the announcer began to call out each player as they ran onto the court while the cheerleaders were on both sides forming a tunnel hype as ever. The whole Stingers Team was way beyond hype jumping around and screaming as the music went all the way up! Each player was announced individually while running onto the court! The crowd went crazy from each corner of The Crown Arena! The time had finally arrived and The New Buzz Around Town was being seen first hand live and direct! I was courtside the whole game so you already know ya boy was as hype as ever!

Now let’s get into this game! The official home opener against the Florida Force! I know y’all have been waiting on this so let’s go! From my viewpoint this is how it went down! So pay close attention! The Stingers were not letting up in the first half of the game.

Even Though they were down 26 to 29 they kept the faith and had great team work to get ahead in the game. This showed me how great of a team they was simply because they didn’t give up, they amped up and got it poppin! They were like “ain’t no way we started our Home Opener Up like this!” They were applying pressure! From then on out it was Full force and drive, that amped each and every one of The Stingers Players! They really were not letting up and keeping up their stamina going up and down the court. The DJ had the crowd engaged with the vibes and the Host Tameka Bright definitely kept the crowd engaged throughout the whole game.

Halftime! Some of yall’s favorite part of the game! The Stingers Dance Team gracefully walked around the court to make their debut. As the players walked off the court the dancers graced the court with their presence! Immediately the DJ started the music and it was on and poppin’ from there! They had the moves, the vibes and the Buzz! They made it look easy from their great dance moves to their flips and high jumps! All eyes were on the dance team as they kept the high energy going until the next quarter started.

By the end of the third quarter, The Stingers were up and Buzzin 96 to 82 and were keeping that momentum up and going! The fans were in hive and hype as ever! Both Head Coach Robert Brickey and Assistant Coach Don Gardner really were on The Stingers at this point. To ensure that they keep applying pressure so the Florida Force could not even have the energy to bring any force. General Manager Raymond Philips had his hand on his chin strategically watching courtside walking back and forth. The Team Market Owner Kenneth Bishop Jr. had all smiles and excitement and overall was happy about how everything was going down!

Now for The Climb Back! As halftime approached, dunks and nothing but net shots had the basketball rim boomin’! Teamwork makes the dream work! The Stingers were up 57 to 55! They definitely put in that work to end the first half on a good note! Head Coach Robert Brickey and Assistant Coach Don Gardner immediately were on 10 at the half!

So yall! As the time dwindled down the whole Crown Arena was HYPE! THE STINGERS WIN! You already know what I was on!

“

HYPE MODE!” Not only me but the whole Crown Arena! What a great way to debut in FAYNC! The buzzer went off and the team stormed the court celebrating their victory! 135 to 98! They stung the Florida Force! What Force!? Like they really came all the way from Florida to the Hive and thought we were going to catch a loss hmm not tonight I think not! They must not know how we do in The Ville! All the fans later joined the court to celebrate the great victory! Players from the Stingers were very welcoming to the fans joining them on the court. From signing autographs, all the way to taking pictures and selfies. The Player of the game was Courtese Cooper with 14 points and 15 rebounds. He definitely set the tone for the Stingers!

The Stingers are officially The New Buzz Around Town!
