Tell us about Fleet Feet: I consider us the “unofficial” shoe doctors of Fayetteville. What makes us unique is that we offer our guests a 3D foot analysis and help them to better understand their feet profile. All of our outfitters have knowledge to assess our customers feet and tailor their shoe fitting experience to their specific needs.

What kind of shopping experience do you provide for customers? And what services and products do you provide?

When you arrive at our store you are greeted and asked about your needs/wants for visiting our store. After learning some background information on our guest 1: We give you 3D analysis of your feet, 2: Recommend a few shoes that we feel would fit your feet the best based on your need and or ailments 3. Have you try on the shoes to assess comfort 4: Inform you of the benefits of choosing the right shoe and all the health and wellness community training and events that we have that you can attend to lead a healthier more comfortable lifestyle.

Now let’s get into these community runs! What should people expect when they join Fleet Feet on a community run?

When joining in on weekly our Community Runs (every Monday 6pm), you can expect a good run with

We have people come out at all running levels with different goals. So, you are bound to find that person with a similar passion and plan as you, that you can run with and hold one another accountable.

Why do you feel it’s important to engage our community outside of the shop?

Our community is what helps us thrive as a business. If we can’t gain the trust of the community as being their GO TO running/health and wellness store then we fail at our mission of promoting a healthier more comfortable lifestyle.

How did the Maud 2.23 run come about and what impact do you want it to have on our community of FAYNC?

The Maud 2.23 run that we’ve hosted annually since the death of Ahmaud Arbery was put together by Together We Stand NC. We want to be able to bring our community together and inform them of the racial injustices that our communities face nationwide. It is not just a one time occurrence but rather something that can be curved if people knew more about how it impacts a vast portion of our communities.

I’m sure people are wondering, so tell us how can people get involved with Fleet Feet? If you want to be involved with Fleet Feet we recommend following our Instagram account @FleetFeetFayetteville. There, you can keep up with our latest events, training, shoe releases and more!

What kind of footprint would you like to leave in FAYNC?

Hopefully, we leave millions of footprints around Fayetteville whether it’s Hoka, Brooks, ON, Saucony or New Balance (all puns intended). But in all seriousness, we hope to leave the footprint that we helped someone to lead a healthier and more comfortable life. We are here for YOU.

What’s a good running shoe you recommend for beginning runners? Like the go-to shoe! I would say the GO-TO shoes depend on the anatomy of your feet. There is no set shoe for just one person because we are all unique in the needs we want out of shoes. That’s why we recommend you come down to our store and get evaluated.

TRUST ME, you won’t disappointed!

"Every year for this week we have this event called Maud 2.23. 2.23 stands for the date he was killed but not just for Ahmaud Arbery, but all the other people that lost their lives because of hate, ignorance, and racism So the goal for today is two things, number one we have an obligation to each other Respect, compassion, empathy, honesty that’s our obligation We have an opportunity today to talk with each other, to each other and to listen One of the things we talk about all the time is about not hearing, listening -because if you listen you’ll understand and also you can learn. We’re all different so we all have a different lens. My lens is different than my wife’s lens and anybody else’s lens So the way to learn from people is to listen to their stories through their lenses that’s the key.”
