Success breeding success Following the launch of the TMC Cancela toppers range at last year’s Cereals event, Spaldings has seen one of the most successful years for topper sales in its history. The initial launch saw the introduction of six machines from the 1.8 to a 3.6m folding version, but the company has now added a further three machines. These are a 4.0 and a 4.5m folding rotary topper and a 2.5m offset mulching machine. Alongside these machines, Spaldings is also showcasing the equally successful Flatlift subsoiler which has been the market leader in its field for many years. The Flatlift now has various versions to suit every farm application from standard subsoiling to a one-pass operation. A TMC Cancela topper.

With a full range of spares and technical back-up from its Lincoln headquarters, Spaldings is looking forward to another very successful event. ■ Stand 500.

Experts at your disposal Warden Agri is looking forward to a return visit to Cereals as an exhibitor after its successful attendance last year. Specialising in damaged, distressed and compromised grains, the company deals with out-of-spec materials that aren’t easily marketable. It uses the internet address webuyanygrains.com in addition to an eponymous one. Managing director Neil Warden says: “Farmers are increasingly looking to optimise all areas that may previously have been overlooked. “With the best will in the world, no farming system is perfect. There will be times when grain becomes damaged, either by pests, storage conditions or unforeseen events. “It’s in these instances that Warden Agri can help farmers and grain store operators by operating a discreet and rapid solution.” The company operates at both ends of the supply chain and is paving the way with new, low-cost and

sustainable input options. Commercial manager Ryan Willey says: “Although our core business is regeneration, we’ve identified a growing need for better-value input options. “For example, our new range of renewables by-products includes a high-phosphate product, gypsum and a PAS 100-quality compost, allowing farmers to make significant cost savings on traditional fertilisers.” Warden Agri is offering complimentary drinks to visitors to its stand.
