The Jolly Sportsman, Lombard Street really does live up to its name. In the five years she has been running the pub, licensee Rebecca Bryan has transformed space at the rear into a glorious little courtyard garden complete with an Aunt Sally. The pub also boasts two pool teams, is home to Eynsham Football Club and serves a delicious full English breakfast on Saturdays. The high quality of its real ale has earned it a Cask Marque.

The Newlands Inn, Newland Street began life as two adjoining cottages in 1580, trading as a pub from the 1860s. One of the delights of this pub is that licensees Ann & Gerry Woodin hold a meat raffle every Saturday night. Those who drink here regularly say the secret of its current success is that conversation and a jolly good pint take precedence, as food is not served here. Extra tables are available on the grass verge opposite.
