HERE IS no better way to start the new year than with extra space to enjoy the activities that bring you joy. Think you’re tight on square footage? You may not be, if you consider your garage. Here are three ways you can convert your garage into your new favorite hangout. Which one will you make a reality in 2024? 1. Game Day Central Gather your friends to enjoy your favorite sports events in a garage designed for fun. Install acrylic high-gloss finish cabinets, and add durable melamine shelves to display your sports memorabilia. Countertops provide a place for tailgating snacks, and a power strip conveniently keeps crock pot cuisine warm. 2. Home Gym Whether you prefer strength training, online aerobics classes, or racking up the miles on your Peloton, your garage offers a convenient location for fitness. Install a durable epoxy polyaspartic floor that resists spills and stains, and add versatile slatwall to hang strength bands, workout gloves, and yoga accessories. 3. Craft and Hobby Refuge Sewing, scrapbooking, model building, woodworking, painting, metalworking, or tinkering with cars… our hobbies relax us, and your garage can be converted into the perfect pastime retreat. Countertops provide room to create, and cabinets and slatwall accessories in a range of finishes offer storage for tools, supplies, and materials. The final touch: LED lighting for late-night crafting. Whether you’re looking to create a new space for fun or simply a better way to store your yard tools, automobile needs, cleaning supplies, household items, and more, creating a happy place at

home is easy with an organized and functional garage. DOLLY PARTON’S STAMPEDE

Celebrate the wonder of the holiday season with Christmas joy and excitement!

I

F YOU ARE in search of a fun family activity for the holidays, Dolly Parton’s Stampede in Pigeon Forge may just be your answer. The dinner show has been transformed into a holiday wonderland filled with the sights and sounds of Christmas. Known as “The Most Fun Place to Eat in the Smokies,” Christmas at Dolly Parton’s Stampede takes guests on a lively yuletide adventure including a full-scale living Nativity, elaborate holiday decorations, Santa Claus and a “big” assortment of toys, a magical aerial performance, and a fabulous four-course feast sure to warm the hearts and appetites of all who visit. “At my Stampede dinner show, Christmas is more than just a celebration,” said Dolly. “‘Christmas at Stampede” has become a family-favorite tradition that has warmed the hearts of millions for 35 holiday seasons - that’s a lot of special Christmas memories made! I think my favorite parts are where our great performers celebrate the holiday’s true meaning with a full-scale living Nativity that will transport everyone back to that first Christmas. I love hearing from so many families that tell us this show has become a treasured part of their annual holiday traditions.”

Stampede’s 32 magnificent horses, not to be confused with Santa’s reindeer, offer thrilling performances throughout the holiday show, and guests will watch in amazement as these talented entertainers perform jaw-dropping stunts during this Christmas extravaganza. These equestrian holiday stars also race in exciting competitions as audience members cheer their respective sides of the North Pole and South Pole on to victory, and the reindeer games continue as elves from the North and South Poles compete in friendly and festive competitions. As an enchanting snowfall begins, Old Saint Nick arrives in his sleigh full of goodies to conclude the captivating Christmas festivities. The show wouldn’t be complete without a proper Christmas feast, which features Stampede’s signature four-course holiday dinner including Stampede’s signature creamy vegetable soup and homemade buttery biscuits, plus Stampede’s own specialty holiday dessert. Vegetarian and gluten-free meals are available upon request. Show times run through January 6, 2024. For reservations, call 865-453-4400 or visit DPStampede.com.
