The Huntsville Botanical Garden celebrated the opening of Night Blooms, presented by PNC Bank, with a VIP reception on the evening of July 20. Featuring thousands of lights and botanical lanterns, the event offered an experience for guests of all ages.
Among the 116 guests in attendance were Huntsville Mayor Tommy Battle, Madison Mayor Paul Finley, and Representative Mike Ball. The fare was catered by Mason Dixon with flowers by Bishop’s Flowers. Providing entertainment was Metropolitan Disc Jockey Service.
“The Garden is known for being a place to spend time with loved ones in nature, whether it’s during a special program or a regular daytime visit,” said Sue Wagner, chief executive officer of the Garden. “Night Blooms is built on that same principle, the joy of sharing a memorable experience with friends and family. But at Night Blooms, you will experience the Garden like you never have before. It’s truly a one-of-a-kind experience.”
In addition to PNC Bank, Night Bloom Sponsors included Gold Sponsor, Redstone Federal Credit Union; Silver Sponsors, Hightower Twickenham, Wells Fargo, and Dr. C.H. Tony and Cathy Chan; and Bronze Sponsors, Huntsville Utilities, and Carol Williamson. n
