The Huntsville Heart Ball looked a bit different this year. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the ball, held on April 10, was virtual while sponsors were invited to watch in their homes. The event serves to raise funds to support the mission of the American Heart Association to ensure research and community efforts continue in the fight against heart disease and stroke.

The awards were presented to Hank Isenberg for 2021 Heart of the Community Recipient; and Dr. Amit Arora for Physician of the Year. The event was made possible by multiple sponsors, including Troy 7, Inc., IronMountain Solutions, Huntsville Hospital, Dynetics, Redstone Federal Credit Union and HigherEchelon.

“It has been my honor to serve as the Huntsville Heart Ball Chair. I was so disappointed we were unable to gather in person for this year’s gala, but we still had to celebrate the important work the American Heart Association is doing with our community’s support. Thank you to the amazing Executive Leadership Team who truly faced an unprecedented challenge in raising hundreds of thousands of dollars during a pandemic,” said Lynn Troy, 2021 Huntsville Heart Ball Chair and CEO of Troy 7, Inc. n
