At the Centre for Technology Infusion I am leading large, highly visible innovation projects, focusing on accessible public transport and assistive technologies: - Preparing the DSAPT for the arrival of CAV for DITRDC - Developing frictionless ticketing technologies for people with disabilities for TfNSW - An overview of emerging Assistive Technologies for public transport operators (finalist IoTA Awards) - Giving control over an Automated Shuttle to People with Disability (iMOVE, HMI) Other project examples include: - Victoria’s first successful Autonomous bus trial (National ITS award winner) - Development of a digital alternative to Australia’s number plate - Australia’s first Connected Tram, integrated with the traffic light system (25 trams are equipped with CTI OBU's) - Evaluation of an ultra accurate horse timing and tracking solution for Racing Victoria - Deployment of one of Australia’s largest LoraWan network involving 5 adjacent City councils. A multi Effie award winning marketer, now fully focused on innovation, I have a particular strength in connecting the dots between end users, technology and commercial results. This has helped me deliver real change in the organisations I have worked with. Before I joined the Centre for Technology Infusion, I have held executive roles at Samsung, Heineken, Millicom and NBN Co , worked with boutique consultancies founded by McKinsey Alumni, as well as with early stage tech start-ups. I am Dutch, worked in Singapore (7 years) and Sri Lanka (3 years). I call Melbourne home since 2010. Married to Happie Yu with two sons Kuan and Lee and 2 Dutch Shepherds Max and Ralph.
