FEATURE SUSAN AND TOM WORTHINGTON of the Spectrum IFA Group held their first coffee morning yesterday (Wednesday) at their new office in Bendinat. The event was an informal ‘open door’ with coffee, organic croissants from Natura Club and even Bucks Fizz for those who felt like it. The crowd that attended was a mix of young and older guests, highlighting the fact that financial advice is not only for those with larger sums of money, but for everyone out there who wish to plan ahead. Whether it be for someone young on their first job wishing to start saving for a house, for a young family wanting to save for their child’s education, for those who have accumulated wealth and wish to invest for growth before retirement, for retired people who wish to provide an income in retirement and also for people who wish to get into the ever increasing international opportunities that investments offer, Susan and Tom at the Spectrum IFA

Offering coffee and advice
COFFEE MORNINGS: Join Susan and Tom Worthington. Group can offer tailored made advice.
The idea behind the coffee morning event was as Susan
and Tom explained “to provide people with an insight into the role of a Financial Adviser” as they have realised through their experience that there is a considerable amount of people that do not know what a Financial Adviser is nor what they do. “The coffee mornings are an opportunity for people to come into the office in a relaxed atmosphere and spend a few minutes with us so we can explain briefly what services we offer and how in fact we are able to help them.” There have been complaints recently about companies cold calling people in Mallorca with aggressive sales techniques, giving a bad name to the financial advising industry. Susan Worthington has described her approach as “a soft approach to helping new clients” and Tom added “we take our time to get to know the client so that we can give the best bespoke advice possible for that client.”
They explained they are committed to providing new clients with a copy of the Spectrum IFA Group client charter outlining their commitment to clients on their first meeting, this also highlights what you can expect from The Spectrum IFA Group. The Spectrum IFA Group office in Mallorca is located in Plaza Bendinat while the head office is based in Barcelona, with an ever increasing amount of offices spread across Europe. The Spectrum IFA Group is approved and registered in Spain, offering clients full protection. If you have unfortunately missed the event, do not worry, there will be more gatherings taking place several times a year which you will know about reading our pages.
