Celebrating a decade of DMR Plumbing and Heating DMR Plumbing & Heating LTD was established in June 2013 with one man and his van – Daniel Roth from Wrexham. Daniel’s hard work, customer commitment and business drive has grown the plumbing and heating business, which now celebrates its 10year birthday. The business has worked in partnership with Worcester Bosch for many years and has now become a Worcester Accredited Partner.

Chester-based Highstream Solutions celebrates sixth anniversary

Highstream Solutions, specialists in IT problem-solving for businesses and based on Bell Meadow Business Park in Chester, has celebrated its sixth anniversary. To mark the occasion, Highstream Solutions treated the team to an afternoon tea party. Paul Williams, managing director, said: “We are proud to have achieved this milestone anniversary, having begun in shared offices in Deeside and now settled in our permanent home at Bell Meadow Business Park for just over a year.”

Wrexham’s Redwither Business Park, the accounting and business advisory firm’s growth has included acquiring two accountancy practices, through The Uncommon Accountants arm of the business, and taking on five apprentices from Coleg Cambria.

Chester Wine School turns 10!

The Wine School of Cheshire turned 10 years old in June. Widely considered to be the county’s foremost authority on wine tasting and wine knowledge, with a wealth of expertise in the industry that spans more than a quarter of a century, the wine school was set up when its founder, Richard Smith, noticed Chester and the wider county of Cheshire lacked an enjoyable form of wine education from an independent voice.

Zebra celebrates 13 years with a move to a new offices

20 years exploring science Xplore! Science Discovery Centre celebrates its 20th anniversary this year. Through science-themed exhibitions, shows and workshops – including 10 new additions to the programme in the past year – 16,000 school learners have engaged in its outreach activities and more than 6,000 pupils have visited, returning the numbers to pre-pandemic school admission levels.The charity has strengthened its partnerships, including new combined science and faith events with St Giles Church, as well as a continuation of its work with the Principality Building Society, to boost financial skills in youngsters.

Local community magazine, EssentialsMAG, celebrates its 18th birthday this year. Hand-delivered to 14,000 homes each month across the local Wrexham area, the magazine is Wrexham’s longest running and most trusted hyperlocal community magazine.

Mark Roberts marked his 10-year anniversary as NFU Mutual Agent recently, and was joined by all the staff to celebrate at the offices on Yale Business Park. Mark began working with NFU Mutual in 2013 as an Agent at the Wrexham agency.
