Lordswood Bernstein SL’s high-quality basic paces, excellent type and outstanding temperament instantly catch your attention. He is a model athlete with an excellent neck, conformation, great shoulder freedom, a strong back and a lot of power. The trot and canter work are always uphill and his clear walk offers excellent ground cover. Bernstein completed the Danish Warmblood 35-Day Stallion Performance Test, earning multiple scores of 8.0 and an 8.5 for capacity from his guest rider. In 2022, he added Hanoverian and Rhineland to his list of approvals. Bernstein’s sire, Bonds, was named Oldenburg Champion Stallion in 2015 and earned impressive scores of 9.12 and 9.28 at his sport tests in 2017 and 2018. Bonds currently competes at advanced level and has nine licensed sons to his credit. Grandsire, Benicio, was winner of the Bundeschampionat and developed into an accomplished FEI horse. He is highly-regarded as a sire and highly-ranked on both the German FN and Hanoverian Verband Dressage Sire ranking lists. Bernstein’s dam, Sunshine M, is by the influential stallion Quaterback. Quaterback has numerous offspring competing internationally and is currently ranked fifth in the world on the WBFSH Dressage Sire rankings. Sunshine M’s damline is the exceptional Elfenblume line from Germany. The first Bernstein foals arrived in Europe in 2022 and were well-received by breeders. They consistently show his beautiful type and expression. Bernstein’s first breeding season in North America was very successful with numerous breeders across the country expecting Bernstein foals out of a wide variety of mares.

Louisville was an early standout winning the Colts of 2017 and the prestigious Dressage at Devon Foal Championship. In 2021 at the East Coast North American Stallion Sport Test, Louisville finished second overall, earning scores of 9.0 for his canter and rideability and an 8.5 for his trot. In 2022, Louisville finished third at the North American Stallion Sport Test and, once again, the scores reflected the highlights of his trot, canter and rideability. The 2022 show season earned Louisville many accolades with a median score over 74%. He was reserve champion for USDF All-Breeds at First Level, reserve champion at the USDF Region 1 Finals, made his Second Level debut with a score of 73.6% and was named First Level Champion at the U.S. Dressage Finals. Louisville’s sire, Lord Leatherdale, is by Lord Loxley who was a Bundeschampionat winner and silver medalist at the World Young Horse Championships. Lord Leatherdale has sired multiple PAVO Cup winners, Young Horse World Champions and international Grand Prix horses. Louisville’s dam had a successful competition career that included USEF Intermediaire championships and Grand Prix wins. Her sire, Negro, is one of the most proven sires for producing Grand Prix offspring, including Valegro, Nintendo and Fendi T. Great grandsire, Fruhling, was an advanced-level show jumper whose influence is well established with 10 approved sons. The quality of Louisville’s first foal crop is apparent, with multiple Premium and Top Foals to his credit. They’ve also earned top ribbons at breed shows around the country. We consistently see him stamp his foals with his expressive gaits, strong type and outgoing personality.

Monterey was one of the most striking stallions at the 2018 Oldenburg stallion licensing in Vechta. In addition to his impression in the arena, he was revered with regard to his bloodlines and was named Premium stallion and received cheers from the crowd. Monterey is very rideable and has a lot of charm and confidence. He is immaculate in his foundation and demonstrates amazing gaits. His sire, Morricone, was the Oldenburg Champion Stallion in 2014 and secured victory in the competition for the Oldenburg Main Premium in 2016. He won his stallion performance test and qualified for the German Championships with victories in competitions for young dressage horses. Many of his foals have been sold for high prices. In his first crop of colts up for licensing, six stallions were approved, including one Premium stallion in Hanover. His dam, Special Diva, was German Champion in 2014 and subsequently won many dressage competitions at novice (A) and elementary (L) level. Monterey is the half-brother to Total Diamond PS, owned by Helgstrand Dressage. Monterey’s granddam, Die Minelli, has also produced stallions. Her son, Brillant (by Bretton Woods), was champion stallion of the Mecklenburg Licensing Days in 2014. Decor Siebenstein (by Sir Donnerhall I) was sold for over €500,000 at the P.S.I. auction in 2011 and is victorious in Inter. II in the Netherlands. Fürst Diamond, by Fürst Romancier, was successful in the international Small Tour with Zina Facklam. Die Minelli’s daughter, Finella, by Fürst Heinrich, produced the advanced (S) level dressage winner Sid, by L’Espoir. His great grandsire, Diamond Hit, is a half-brother to our stallion Sandro Hit and competed in international Grand Prix competitions with Emma Hindle (GBR). He has produced more than 70 licensed stallions and 160 Premium mares.

This young stallion offers such an exceptionally-proven pedigree for producing Grand Prix horses! Nacho is sired by the preferent stallion Negro, a successful FEI competitor and a proven producer of Grand Prix horses, including Olympic champion Valegro, international team horses Fendi T and Nintendo and two-time World Young Horse Champion Kjento. Negro offspring have proven time and again they have the talent for FEI work and are winning at the FEI levels with professionals, amateurs and young riders. Nacho’s dam, Benetton, is a ster mare by the Grand Prix stallion Krack C. Krack C had an exceptionally successful career at Grand Prix under Anky Van Grunsven, including a top-ten finish at the World Equestrian Games, and went on to sire numerous licensed stallions and FEI competitors. Nacho’s granddam, Mystiek, has produced multiple Elite mares and the Intermediate I horse Djuice Geuzenhof, in addition to other Z and Z-Licht horses. Great grandsire Fruhling was an advanced-level show jumper whose influence is well established with ten approved sons. Nacho completed his KWPN Stallion Performance Test in 2021, earning especially high praise for his canter, which earned a score of 9.0. Additional highlights included 8.0s for both rideability and attitude, as well as posture and balance. With Nacho’s proven pedigree and beautiful exterior we feel he is an excellent addition for North American breeders and we anticipate he’ll improve the canter and add size for dressage breeders.
