A dynamic stallion that offers a unique pedigree, excellent trainability and the athleticism needed for top sport. Harvest was champion of the NA Stallion Sport Test in 2017, earning an overall score of 8.61 and 9.0 for both trot and overall impression. In 2018, Harvest finished fourth at the USEF Young Horse National Championships and was reserve champion for Third Level AA at the U.S. Dressage Finals. At age 8, Harvest made his FEI debut at Intermediate II and was reserve champion at the USEF Developing Horse Grand Prix Championships. The following season, Harvest was again second at the USEF Developing Horse Grand Prix Championships and scored above 70% the entire season at Intermediate II and Grand Prix. Harvest’s sire Connaisseur successfully completed his KWPN Stallion Performance Test, earning no score less than 8.0. He earned top-10 placings in the PAVO Cup Finals as a 4 and 5-year-old and has developed into a successful Grand Prix horse. Connaisseur has produced PAVO Cup and Young Horse Championship competitors and his oldest are successful at the FEI levels. Harvest’s dam Naomi has produced two Elite mares, numerous performance horses and two licensed stallions. Damsire Ulft was an exceptionally versatile producer and the sire of the influential stallion Ferro. We see Harvest’s clear stamp in his offspring that exhibit elasticity and a powerful hind leg, a compact frame, good bone and a nicely set neck. Hero is an exceptional example of a modern stallion who was not only successful as a young horse but has also progressed successfully through sport. He has achieved scores well over 80% in USEF young horse classes with scores in the 9.0s for gaits and mid-70% in the FEI, with room to improve and advance. He shows tremendous scope within the gaits and ease to sit and collect. Hero is an extremely rideable stallion with a positive attitude and temperament. As a producer, Hero has a fairly strong genetic influence as his foals are all extremely uphill with excellent mechanics in all three gaits and natural balance. He is an absolute joy to work with and his foals show similar enthusiasm to learn and interact. Hero will be available fresh cooled in 2023 on a limited basis as his competition schedule allows. At his Trakehner licensing, Herzensdieb was awarded champion stallion. “This stallion is not just moving, but dancing,” was the enthusiastic comment. Trakehner Verband Breeding Manager Lars Gehrmann added, “Endowed with the aura of something special, this stallion embodies the classical Trakehner upgrader type.” He was reserve champion of his 70-day test scoring above champions from Hanoverian, Oldenburg, Westfalen and Holsteiner licensings. He won the Trakehner championship for 3-year-old stallions, qualified for the Bundeschampionat for 6-yearold dressage horses and then trained up to the advanced level. Sire, Tambour, won his stallion licensing and was highly successful in both advanced level dressage and jumping. He then went on to become a successful sire producing auction horses, Premium mares and successful sport horses. Herzensdieb’s dam, St.Pr./El.St. Herzensfreude, scored 9.11 at her Mare Performance Test and was successful in dressage competition. Granddam, SPS Herzenslust, Champion Mare in Schleswig-Holstein, won her Mare Performance Test. This noted damline has produced several licensed stallions, successful dressage horses and highly-awarded mares. Herzensdieb has an FN breeding value dressage of 142 points and is in the top 10% of German dressage sires. He was honored with the prestigious Elite Hengst title (E.H.) by the Trakehner Verband. Breeders comment Herzensdieb stamps his offspring with his elegant type, friendly personality and exceptional rideability. Many daughters are revered in Germany. Heartbreaker, Harriet and Helmi, have won honors at large German mare shows. Daughter Elfenzauber qualified for the Bundeschampionat for 6-year-old dressage horses. Licensed son Herzenswunsch was champion of Southern Germany, Horse of the Year and multiple Bundeschampionat finalist. In Germany, dressage competitor Halley v.H, made an impressive showing at the 2020 Verden Grand Prix. Hollywood L was also a successful Grand Prix competitor. Hannigan L is successfully competing at PSG Level. In 2021, daughter Schönherz was awarded Premium Mare by the Trakehner Verband and competes in dressage and eventing. Löwenherz is a champion eventer and show jumper schooling PSG in Australia. Offspring in the U.S. continue to impress and exceed expectations as they mature.
