The 2021 Class of STIHL Hardware All Stars
T
he following pages document a very special class of All Stars. Representing each of the fifty states, these high-performing, community-oriented, innovation-fueled businesses were tested over the past 12 months. And they passed with flying sales. Case in point is our All Star on the cover: Wood Shed Lumber & Hardware Supply of Carrolton, Mo. Entering the store is a visual experience, enhanced by a welcoming cedar porch, shiplap siding, wide aisles and an antique wagon among the merchandising tactics. In February, the versatile retailer expanded with a Wood Shed Outdoor Power & Rental, just across the street from the main store. “We’ve got a lot of small towns around us and they’ve shown tremendous support for us,” said co-owner Sharona Eiserer. Like most All Stars listed here, the business rests on the foundation of a friendly and knowledgeable staff. “We have a lot of folks that have been in the industry for a good while,” she added. “They’re local, and lot of them have been in the construction industry. Their expertise is the reason we offer that good, customer-friendly service.” Our cover photo doesn’t lie. The friendly Wood Shed has “All Star” written all over it. And there are 49 more worthy honorees on the following pages. Congratulations to the entire class of 2021.
