ELY TIGERS FOR GIRLS!
Ely Archers braved the cold on the first Saturday morning in January to shoot their annual Frostbite round on the Amherst Field. The Frostbite round consists of shooting 36 arrows (6 arrows per end) at an 80cm target which is 30 metres away. All archers who score 200 or more out of 360 are awarded with a badge. Hot drinks, mince pies and chocolates were served half way through. Although they didn't seem to work to keep the cold at bay! Ely Archers run beginners archery classes in the Summer months. The courses consist of a 4 week course on a Wednesday evening 6-8pm. For more details and to register your interest please visit their beginners web page: https://www.elyarchers.org.uk/beginners/
