Elham Samani

Dr. Elham Neisani Samani is a physician-scientist, OB/GYN, educator, and internationally recognized women's health advocate whose career bridges clinical care, pioneering research, and humanitarian service. With more than a decade of experience spanning Iran and the United States, she has dedicated her work to advancing reproductive medicine, improving healthcare equity, and empowering women through compassionate, evidence-based care. A Yale School of Medicine scholarship recipient, she has published more than 30 scientific papers and book chapters on reproductive sciences, endometriosis, stem cell biology, artificial intelligence in women's health, and medical education. Her achievements have earned recognition including the 2025 Marquis Who's Who Excellence in Healthcare honor, the 2024 Resident Award for Excellence in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, and the 2021 International Award for Women's Health. Born and raised in Tehran, Iran, Dr. Neisani Samani's journey has taken her from serving underserved rural communities in Iran to conducting groundbreaking research at Yale University and continuing her OB/GYN residency training in the United States. Alongside her clinical and academic work, she is deeply committed to advocacy, serving as co-founder of the Organization of Middle Eastern Girls and Women, Chief of Persian Women's Health, and a supporter of refugee, humanitarian, and diversity initiatives. A manuscript reviewer for Reproductive BioMedicine Online, she is passionate about integrating artificial intelligence into women's healthcare while ensuring compassion remains at the center of medicine. Also a developing poet, she uses writing to champion healing, resilience, and women's voices, drawing inspiration from her own experience with IVF and a high-risk pregnancy to better serve and empower patients around the world.
