I saw a giant baby head today. Bloody and new-born. Eyes closed. Transparent eyeballs behind the translucent lids. I saw it in the sky above the city. Amnion. Alien mothership. The umbilical cord.

Are we all made of flesh and bones? Welcome to the machine. I think that’s how we all get born into this world: Huge and undefinable, And then all our lives, we try to search For the space we used to occupy.

I dreamt of the baby And she dreamt me back.
