Raufarhöfn, Arctic Henge. Harnessing the Midnight Sun at the Arctic Circle, and the limitless expanse where nothing encroaches on the horizon. The Henge is inspired by the cosmos and dwarflore of the ancient Eddic poem Völuspá (Prophecy of the Seeress). The Arctic Henge is under construction. Website

Langanes, Local Folk Museum at Sauðaneshús.
The priest’s cottage, Sauðaneshús was built in 1879. Today it houses a heritage exhibition, information centre and a café where national refreshments are available.
